Welcome to my blog!

Since being diagnosed with ADHD (combined type) at the age of 31 in 2023, there has been a huge shift in how I see myself and the life I live. It’s been a constant journey of reflecting and enquiry.

ADHD is complex in its presentation and varied in its impact on our lives. I’m writing this blog as a host to some of my own thought processes and experiences and so I hope you find some form of resonance, humour or perspective as you join me on this journey.

What can you expect?

I’ll be writing about symptoms that I’ve experienced, as well as my journey to diagnosis and treatment; for context I have been on medication for around 18 months and take Elvanse/Dexamfetamine. I will also be sharing my perspective on the more general situations in day-to-day life such as work and relationships and the role ADHD has played in some of my major life events.
